Hanna Galtat is a Helsinki-based artist working between Finland and France. Trained as a visual artist, designer, and art historian specialized in architecture, her work reflects curiosity for interdisciplinary exploration. Her practice encompasses sculpture, installation, and printmaking. She is also engaged in textile design.

Galtat explores themes of perception, memory, and meaning in relation to time, place, and matter. She draws inspiration from cultures, history, philosophy, and arts. Site-specifity and multisensoriality are central to her approach. Through her works, she wants to highlight the diversity of life and matters around which we can experience togetherness.

Galtat has worked among others with bronze sculptures, such as the Significant Symbols (2020–2021) series of three-dimensional re-writings of well-known symbols. Her site-specific glass work Point of View (1997) is installed in an Alvar Aalto building in Helsinki. She has also designed textiles for the Finnish company Lapuan Kankurit that embody the cycle of natural light. Galtat's works have been presented in exhibitions in Finland and France.
